PRAISE GOD FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE IN HARTFORD THIS YEAR!
"I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." (Psalm 27:13)
Yes, we have seen the Lord make His dwelling in Hartford. He has welcomed us into His Presence, which compels us to WORSHIP Him.
Faith was restored - People were healed - Lives were seen in purpose - The Lost were reached - People were loved
In Our Thoughts - In Our Lives - In Our City

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO DISCOVER WORSHIP?
Students unpacked this question through three venues: Evening Teachings, Worship Exercises, Huddles
Evening Teachings: The Lord welcomes our worship in the midst of any circumstance, so come as you are (Ezra 3; Ecclesiastes); we are called to be a "living sacrifice" so learning to think differently from the world is the first step (Romans 12); the Bible is filled with practical instruction on how to worship in word and deed (1 Samuel 4); and God has creatively endowed us to worship in unique ways (Colossians 3).
Worship Exercises: With devotionals to prepare us to worship, students did worship by contemplating God's hand in nature at Elizabeth Park, by worshipping together in community, by creatively responding to Scripture, and by going out in a prayer walk.
Huddles: These practical conversations are about responding to the challenges the Lord provides through THP and imagining how to walk out that calling in our home communities.
