Participant Registration Rate:
The following discounts and scholarships are available this summer.
Hartford Resident Rate: All participants who either live in Hartford or worship at a church in Hartford qualify for the Hartford Resident Rate. The cost for this summer's program is $200.
Leader Discount: One free leader for every six students registered.
Household with Multiple Participants Discount: $25 off the second participant; $50 off all remaining participants living in the same household. This discount does not apply to leaders.
Urban Alliance Grant: Organizations that are part of the Urban Alliance Network are encouraged to apply for a THP Youth Scholarship Grant. If your organization is not already a UA Network participant, you can learn more by contacting Urban Alliance.
Michele Dailey Scholarship Fund: Thanks to the generosity of THP parents and other donors, we are able to offer scholarship funds each year. These may be full or partial scholarships, depending on the need and the available funds. Please contact us if you are in need of scholarship support - we never want cost to prevent a student from participating in THP!
WHERE?
Since 2010 we have used South Church (277 Main Street, Hartford, CT) as our hub for housing, meals and worship throughout the Summer Outreach Weeks. Student Worksite Teams are sent out to various ministry sites in Hartford throughout the week to experience and share God's love.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Youth groups (students completing grades 6 through 12) may attend either week.
If you are a teenager whose youth group is not attending as a group, we offer a THP-led team that you can register for. (Please put "THP" as your group on registration, and we will follow up with you on availability.) Please keep in mind, the option to stay overnight in July will be dependent upon whether leaders are available to chaperone overnight.
If your church is not registered, you can start something new at your church! Talk to your youth leader or pastor about getting involved, or find an adult who's passionate about getting youth together for THP. Maybe you're that parent or leader who wants to bring a group of students from your church - if you're looking to register a new church click here!
