cultivating connection between youth pastors & leaders
WHY NETWORK YOUTH LEADERS?
The Hartford Project has been working with youth leaders for nearly 20 years. In the early days of our ministry, THP was coordinated by a ministry network. Today, the demands of ministry have led to the need for someone to hold the mantle for this networking activity. As a collaborative ministry, The Hartford Project is already working with ministries, including youth groups, and sees the need to foster that collaboration year-round. We see this also working towards our objective of Kingdom building and disciple-making, emboldening the work of youth ministries as we work together and encourage each other.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Bridge meetings are open to any who lead youth - you can be a youth pastor, a leader in your youth group, or a mentor to youth. Folks from across the region come together to network and share burdens and work that God is doing in our midst. It also includes a time of teaching and encouragement, intended to equip leaders in the mission of raising up Kingdom builders.
WHEN DOES THE BRIDGE MEET?
The Bridge meets several times per year. Typically, an email will be sent to the network participants, announcing a forthcoming date, along with an encouragement to invite other ministry workers. We typically meet at a host church for breakfast.
