REGISTRATION INFO | Summer Serve Saturday
This July, we invite churches, individuals, and families to participate in Summer Serve Saturday. We are offering this event in addition to our two Summer Outreach Weeks, to allow more people to participate while reaching more people with God's love. This event is open to all ages and is a great opportunity for people to build relationships with the wider body of Christ and engage in ministry alongside THP worksite partners. You will have the option to choose outdoor, indoor, or remote worksites, based on what works best for your church and participants. We are also working to provide a time of worship and prayer.

- Completing the Church Registration Steps listed above and communicating all necessary information to participants registering with your church.
- Screening all participants registering for THP through your church, to ensure they are adequately prepared and capable of participating in THP. This includes, but is not limited to, running background checks on all adults registering with your church. Additionally, you may choose to hold mandatory virtual meetings for your team prior to THP, or require students to complete a certain number of service hours before participating in THP.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THERE A COST TO REGISTER?
No, Summer Serve Saturday is free to allow as many people as possible to participate!
There is a suggested donation of $25 per person or $50 per family, to help cover the outreach costs. These donations will help THP purchase supplies for our volunteer projects, and any excess funds will be used to support THP's additional programs and mission.
There's also an option to purchase a THP shirt for just $10 - this is something fun we can all wear during the event, and something memorable you can wear after the event.
Making a donation and purchasing a shirt are both optional, neither is required to participate in Summer Serve Saturday.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Summer Serve Saturday is open to all ages! Youth groups, families, and adults are all welcome to participate.
AS A CHURCH LEADER, SHOULD I STILL COMPLETE CHURCH REGISTRATION FORM?
Yes, we encourage you to complete a church registration form. Even though individuals and families can register on their own, completing a church registration form will allow THP to communicate with you directly, provide you with promotional materials, and make sure your group is assigned to the same service project(s) and team(s). Register your church today!
WHERE?
Worksite Teams are sent out to various ministry sites in Hartford to experience and share God's love. We also plan to offer remote options for those who want to participate from their local churches or homes.
