God is currently teaching me about peace and how to confide in His word. This has been a great help to me through a time of transition in my life.

I had positive experiences in learning how to be a servant of the Lord and the great joy that [comes] with serving others in ways I did not expect.

I hope to build my relationship with God and to be filled by doing the Lord’s work. I also intend to give my hard work to the city and spread love and joy to others.

The Hartford Project constantly challenged me and grew me in many ways. Besides being the highlight of my summer because it was so much fun, it also really helped me to strengthen my relationship with Christ. It gave me a heart for other people, and a desire to reach out to those around me. It also opened my eyes to what life can be like without Jesus, and how exciting and also challenging it can be to love people like Jesus would. ​

I want to do something with my summer that is lasting and worthwhile, and I think loving others is the best way to do that . . . I love communication, organization, and all of the things I [will] be doing, but I also love Hartford, ministry, and other people.

I hope to gain experience and insight into outreach ministries, and also into the communication field. I also hope to give to this amazing ministry that impacted me so much. I want to be able to love other people and give back to those who poured into me. My desire for this summer is to do everything out of love and truly be honoring to God and those around me.
